Seems like at least once a week my allergies flare up at work; sneezing, sniffing, etc.

My room is quite bare, I do have a small palm tree in the corner, but I don't think they cause allergies??

Since the hot summer months began, the business next door (which controls the AC levels) seems to set the AC very high, so its always VERY COLD in the office...would a humidifyer help?!

My Boss is begining to think I'm allergic to work!! ;-)

Thanks!!

It may be air con duct that needs cleaning.

Is your room also carpeted? There also may be dust mites that you may be allergic to. http://www.healthandwellnesscentral.com/Article/Dust-Away-Dust-Allergy/3617

You may also want to consider getting an air purifier for your room. http://www.healthandwellnesscentral.com/Article/What-s-The-Best-Allergy-Air-Purifier--5-Things-You-Should-Know/13451

There is something that is triggering your allergies. You must have carpet on your floor or something. The AC actually helps with allergies. It's recycling the air within the room which is ideal because it filters the air. If carpet is not the answer, there might be some sort of plants or something different than what you have at home and try to use some Frebreeze and spray down the work environment. Make sure you buy the allergy one.

It could be something in the duct work. Once the AC was turned on, it started blowing alergens into the air. I would ask around to see if others are also feeling this way. You literally COULD be allergic to work if this is the case.

it is probably the AC because it blows all the stuff your allergic to around. or maybe, if you're allergic to animals, one of your co-workers has a pet that gets fur all over the owner.

There is probably somthing in that office that is trigering your allergies. You could get one of those air purifiers and bring it to your office.
