If possible, I'd like one that has a non-alcoholic version as well. I just want to mix some fruity drinks up for 4th of July.

I'd also prefer one that doesn't have a million different types of alcohol in it.

Anyone got any good ideas for alcoholic fruity drinks that also have a non-alcoholic counterpart? :P

SPICY-SWEET DRINKS

NOON ON THE EQUATOR
(1 serving)

1/4 cup orange juice
1 1/2 tsp grenadine syrup
1/4 cup tomato juice
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Juice of 1/4 lemon
Dash of Tabasco sauce
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker and add ice cubes. Shake well and strain into glasses.


RUSSIAN TEA
(1 serving)

1 cup dry, unsweetened instant tea
1 -10 cent pkg.(small envelope) lemonade mix
1 tsp ground cloves
1 large jar Tang (2 cups)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Mix thoroughly and store in airtight container. (Will keep indefinitely.) Use 2 teaspoons Russian tea to 1 cup boiling water. May be served hot or chilled.

SWEET DRINKS

MEXICAN SUNSET
(1 serving)

1 cup chilled orange juice
1/2 jigger grenadine
Pour orange juice into tall glasses. Add grenadine carefully so that it settles on bottom. May be served over ice.


PINA COLADA PERFECTO
(1 serving)

1 jigger cream of coconut
2 jiggers pineapple juice
1 1/2 jiggers club soda
Mix over ice.


STRAWBERRY FLING
(3-4 servings)

1/2 pint strawberry ice cream
1 cup milk
4 teaspoons grenadine syrup
Whole strawberries
Mix ice cream and milk in a blender until foamy and thick; pour into glasses. Pour grenadine from spoon down inside of each glass (forms bright crimson layer at the bottom). Garnish with strawberries.


VANILLA EGG CRÈME
(1 serving)

Equal parts: Dash of:
Milk Vanilla
Club Soda Sugar
Mix. Pour into chilled glass.




COFFEE-APRICOT COOLER
(2 servings)

3/4 cup coffee, chilled
1/2 cup chilled apricot nectar (juice)
1/3 cup cold milk
1/2 pint coffee ice cream, softened
Mix coffee, apricot, nectar and milk together in a large bowl. Add ice cream and beat until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses.

SEMI-SWEET DRINKS

ORANGE CRANBERRY TODDY
(8 servings)

2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
1/4 cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick
8 whole cloves
6 cups orange juice
2 oranges, sliced
Heat first five ingredients to boiling point. Taste and add more sugar if needed. Garnish with orange slices and add cinnamon sticks for swizzles.


PUSSYFOOT
(1 serving)

1 jigger lemon juice
3 jiggers orange juice
1 tablespoon grenadine
imitation egg (1)
Blend or shake with crushed ice.


LEMON-GRAPE FROSTIE
(4 servings)

8 TB grape juice concentrate
3 cups water
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 cup plain yogurt
Lemon slices as garnish
Put all ingredients in a blender and mix well. Pour into 4 ice- filled glasses and garnish with lemon slices.


CARRIE-NATION
(1 serving)

1 serving cola beverage
2 generous dashes of lemon juice and/or grenadine and/or any other fruit syrup or juice.
Serve over ice and garnish with orange slice and cherry.

TART TASTING DRINKS

LIME FIZZ
(4-5 servings)

1 can (6 ounces) frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1/2 cup chilled bottled green maraschino cherry syrup or green passion fruit mix
2 1/2 cups chilled quinine water
Green food coloring (optional)
Just before serving, combine limeade concentrate, syrup, and quinine water in a pitcher. Add food coloring to tint to desired shade of green. Mix lightly. Garnish with a float of fresh cranberries. Serve over crushed ice.


SALT OF THE BORDER
(1 serving)

1 cup bitter lemon or lime soda
Juice of 1 lime
2 teaspoons sugar
Salt to taste
Crushed ice
Pour soda in ice cube tray and allow to freeze thoroughly. Place in blender container; add lime juice and sugar; process. Rub lime around rim of glass and dip in salt. Serve the mixture over crushed ice in the salted glass.

SPICY-SAVORY DRINK

BLOODY SHAME
(1 serving)

1/2 tsp fresh lime juice (or use "Rose Lime")
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Dash freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup V-8 or tomato juice
Dash Tabasco sauce
Salt
Mix lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper together. Add V-8 or tomato juice and mix. Add Tabasco. Pour over ice and garnish with a celery stick for a stirrer.

SPARKLING FRUIT SLUSH
(10 servings)

2 pints unsweetened pineapple juice
2 (6 oz) cans pink lemonade concentrate
1 cup water
Add juice of 1 lemon or lime
Mix ingredients and freeze overnight. Remove from freezer just before serving. Stir well.(Keeps in freezer.)


MOCK PINK CHAMPAGNE
(1 1/2 quarts or 10 servings)

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 (6 oz) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 (6 oz) can frozen grapefruit juice concentrate
1 (28 oz) bottle chilled ginger ale
1/3 cup grenadine syrup
Early in day, mix sugar with water in saucepan and boil 5 minutes. Cool. Add frozen juice concentrates. Refrigerate. At serving time add ginger ale and grenadine syrup. Stir lightly.


CARDINAL PUNCH
(44 servings)

1 qt cranberry juice
1 pint orange juice
2 lemons squeezed or 2 oz lemon juice
4 qts ginger ale
Combine juices with ice and chill. Pour into punch bowl over a block of ice and add ginger ale. Garnish glasses with mint sprig. (May add orange sherbet scoops)


JACK-O-LANTERN
(1 1/2 gallons or 64 - 4 ounce servings)

1 gallon apple cider
1 quart hot water
1/2 cup instant tea
2 TB lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp powdered cloves
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick
Heat water, add tea, cider, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and cinnamon stick. Serve warm.


MOETTE PUNCH
(8 servings)

1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup white grape juice
1 pint club soda
Sugar to taste
1 quart raspberry sherbet or ice
Add soda to fruit juices; sweeten to taste. Pour into punch bowl; add scoops of sherbet
Fruity Fruit Shake
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup apple juice
1 ripe banana, peeled
5 or 6 strawberries
1 carton (8 ounces) fruit yogurt
2 teaspoons honey
4 or 5 ice cubes In an electric blender, combine orange juice, apple juice, banana, strawberries, yogurt and honey. Process until well combined. Refrigerate until chilled. If you want to drink these drinks right away, then add the ice cubes also when blending.

1 package yogurt (8 oz)
1 small ripe banana, peeled
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup apple juice In an electric blender, combine yogurt (I like to use strawberry/banana yogurt), banana, strawberries and apple juice and blend. Served chilled.

6 scoops French Vanilla ice cream
1 tablespoon choloclate flavored syrup
1 banana, peeled
1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Pour mixture into small glass. Top each glass with a dollop of whipped cream and garnishe with almonds, chocolate shavings and cherries.

4 Fruit Drink
1 cup orange juice 1 cup pineapple juice 1/2 cup lime juice 1/2 cup lemon juice 2/3 cup granulated sugar 1 pint vanilla ice cream In a larg container, combine orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, and lemon juice. Refrigerate, covered, until well chilled. Add sugar to juice mixture, mix well. Add ice cream, beat with a wire whisk until blended.

Saturday Night Shake
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup chocolate-flavored syrup
1 cup milk, well chilled
2 scoops chocolate, vanilla or butter pecan ice cream
Flaked coconut for garnish In a blender, combine peanut butter, chocolate syrup, milk and ice cream. Blend a few seconds for thick milk shake. Pour into chilled glasses. Sprinkle a little coconut on top.

Vegetable Juice Cocktail
1 quart tomato juice
4 ribs celery, chopped
4 carrots, chopped
1 tablespoon mince onion
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (optional)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper In blender, combine half of the tomato juice, celery, carrots, onion, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce and black pepper. Cover and blend on high speed 10 to 15 seconds, or until smooth. Pour into pitcher. Repeat process with remaining half of ingrediants, add to pitcher ans stir to combine. cover and refrigerate to let flavors belnd. Serve chilled.

Frozen Mango Daiquiri
1 ripe mango (about 12 oz) peeled, pitted and coarsely chopped
1/4 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons superfine granulated sugar
3 ice cubes In blender, combine mango, pineapple juice, lime juice ans sugar. Blend on high speed until smooth. Add ice cubes, blend until smooth and slushy. Immediately pour into stemmed glasses and serve.

Mock Margaritas
1 can (12 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed, undiluted
1 can (12 oz) frozen limade concentrate, thawed, undiluted
1 cup confectioner's sugar
6 cups finely crushed ice
1 bottle (1 liter) club soda, chilled
Lime slices
Coarse salt
In a 4 quart non-metal container, combine lemonade concentrate, limeade concentrate,
confectioners' sugar and crushed ice, mix well. Cover and freeze, stirring occasionally. Remove container from freezer about 30 minutes before serving time, let stand at room temperature to thaw slightly. Sppon 2 cups slush mixture into blender. Add 1 cup club soda. Cover and blend until slushy smooth. To serve, rub rum of glass iwth lime slice and dip rim in coarse salt, then fill the glass with the drink. Garnish with lime slice.

LEMON-STRAWBERRY PUNCH :
Ingredients :
1 can (6 oz) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
1 can (6 oz.) frozen lemonade concentrate
1 quart carbonated water
1 quart ginger ale
Slice bananas (garnish)
Slice oranges or lemons (Garnish)
Preparation :
Combine frozen lemonade, the strawberries half-thawed with juice), and the orange juice. Place in a punchbowl with ice. Just before serving, add carbonated water and ginger ale. Garnish with thin slices or orange or lemon. 20 servings.

Fruit Spritzer (Makes 1 cup)

3 ounces cranberry juice
3 ounces grapefruit juice
2 ounce club soda

Pour juices in a tall glass of ice. Top off with club soda and a slice of lime. Try using different juice combinations: orange/pineapple, orange/cranberry, or grapefruit/orange.

Spicy Apple Cider (Makes 4 cups)

1 quart apple juice or cider (not hard cider)
1 orange or lemon, sliced into wheels
4 cinnamon sticks
12 whole cloves

Combine all the ingredients in a pan. Heat until just boiling. Let stand a few minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Serve with one cinnamon stick in each mug.

Spicy-Mato (Makes 1 cup)

1 cup tomato or vegetable juice cocktail
dash of hot sauce (Tabasco or Texas Pete)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
dash of ground pepper
celery stick

In a pitcher, mix lemon juice and pepper. Add vegetable or tomato juice and mix. Add hot sauce. Pour over ice in a tall glass and garnish with a celery stick.

Squeezer's Fruity Shake (Makes two 1/2 cup servings)

1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup low fat milk
1 ripe banana
3-6 ice cubes

Put orange juice, milk and banana into a blender. Blend until smooth. Add one ice cube at a time. Blend until thick and frosty. Drink right away. Makes two 1/2 cup servings. You can use other fruit combinations, too. Try your favorite!

Orange Cream Soda (Makes 4 cups)

2 cups orange juice
1 pint frozen vanilla yogurt or ice cream
12 ounces club soda

Combine orange juice and yogurt and ice cream in a blender. Whirl on medium speed until smooth. Fill glass two-thirds full and top it off with club soda.

Mock Champagne (Makes one gallon)

3 quarts ginger ale
1/2 cup grenadine syrup
1/2 cup lemon juice (clear)
1/2 cup grapefruit juice (clear)
2 cups of tonic water (or club soda to reduce sweetness)

Combine in a large punch bowl and serve chilled. You can alter the proportions of fruit juice to suit your taste. Apple juice lends a nice flavor.

Ingredients: 2.0 each Lime
0.5 cup Sugar
4.0 oz Triple sec
8.0 oz Vodka
0.75 cup Water
3.0 each Mango

Directions: Boil the sugar and water in a bowl. Chill for 20 minutes.

Add the chopped mangos, along vodka, triple sec and two limes to a blender with 40 ice cubes. Blend, add the water and sugar mixture, and blend again. Serve in your glass of choice.

Ingredients: 0.5 oz Banana Liqueur
2.0 oz Club Soda
2.0 oz Cranberry juice
0.5 oz Melon liqueur

Directions: Drop a shot glass containing banana and melon liqueurs in, into a 9 oz highball glass containing soda water and cranberry juice. Shoot.

1.0 tsp. Lemon juice
2.0 tsp. Sugar Syrup

Directions: Fill mixing glass with ice and add all ingredients. Shake and strain into glass filled with ice.

well fruity is fruity.. don't need the alcohol. stay away from it if you don't know any.. water melon, 7 up, strawberries and ice cream floating in a punch bowl
