Born again Christian believe that we are God's children through adoption- John 1:12, Romans 8:15, Gal. 4:5, Eph 1:5, etc...

You believe that we were created as HIs children in preexistence, before we were created by our earthly fathers. If you believe that are you calling God a sinner, as it says in Isaiah 43:27 "Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me." ???

Wow. Even the mormons can't get this story straight. Has it changed all that much?

Jesus, as a spirit, created the world and all the stuff in it. God created jesus' spirit, then the rest of us. THEN, we got the physical bodies with all the messy birth process. If you're going to spout nonsense, at least be consistant and get it right.

No. We aren't. You have misinterpreted and misapplied our beliefs.
To me, that scripture says, Thy father (note the lower case f - if he were talking about our Heavenly Father, they would use an upper cased F - also when Isaiah spoke he didn't use the term Heavenly Father, he usually referenced Jehovah which we believe to be Jesus Christ prior to His birth.), meaning thy earthly/biological/mortal father, hath sinned. And thy teachers, meaning those who are in authority over you (like the priests and Levites, and those with Priesthood authority) have transgressed against me.
Why try to twist everything around. If I'm not mistaken, you are a former member. Given that, this question is read from the point of view that you are trying to stir up controversy. There's no point in it. For those who are members, it will not persuade them to change their minds. For those who aren't members, the only thing it might do is give them fuel for the fire.

of direction we gained't recognize any of this suitable now, purchase listed right here are my recommendations. He probable has through fact we've not got any thought while He "got here to be". yet we do recognize that He had a existence adventure equivalent to ours. And we additionally recognize that as quickly as we are exalted our young ones would be as many through fact the grains of sand and the celebs contained in the sky. everlasting enhance. Mortal parents do not stop being parents while their babies improve up and function their very own babies so of direction Heavenly Father does not stop to be our father. i think of that he will proceed to observe us and be concerned approximately us and OUR spirit babies. At that factor, we are able to all have our very own worlds and spirit babies and that i've got faith the finished technique will in certainty be repeated. meaning that there'll be a clean Savior and a clean Atonement. those are purely my recommendations, I unquestionably have not something to truly lower back me up. and actually, its an exciting question yet its not some thing to truly concentration on plenty. BTW i in my opinion like your profile call:)

The first father refers to the House of Israel in general from Abraham to Jacob to Moses to the day of Isaiah's statement. It in no way refers to God the Father sinning. Christ is speaking through Isaiah chastising Israel for not being faithful. They have not kept the sacrifices required by the Law of Moses.
None of that alters the fact that we were with Heavenly Father before we were born. Jehovah talks to Jeremiah about his being called and ordained a prophet to the nations before he was born. God showed to Abraham all the children of the earth and showed him a group that were considered the noble and great ones. He was told that these would be God's leaders and that he, Abraham, was one of them. That last reference comes from modern revelation. You won't find it in the Bible.

for starters, we were not created as his children; we were BORN as his children. And you cant take one verse like that out of context and say "look here, this says if you believe that you are calling God a sinner." This is the Lord talking to Isaiah about how the Children of Israel have sinned against him, God, by not offering him burnt offerings, sinning, and not praying to Him.

43:22 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.

43:23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.

43:24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.

3:27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.

This means that the fathers of the Children of Israel have not been teaching the commands of God to their children, and not been following the commands themselves. They have not been doing the things mentioned in the other verses, offerings, prayers, etc.

This passage was not even talking about God being our Father, it was Him talking to Isaiah about the sins of Israel. You cannot use that against us.
