39.37 inches x 2 =78.64 inches in two meters

in the USA, for commercial purposes, 2.54 cm is defined as one inch, exactly. 2 meters is 200 cm, or 78.74 inches. 12 inches in one foot, so that is 6.56168 foot. for super precise geodetic survey purposes only, a more accurate coversion is used, but you won't notice the difference unless hundreds of miles of distance are involved.

=0.0254 m
1 feet =12 inches
therefore,1 feet = 0.3048 m
or 1 m =1/0.3048
=3.2808
hence,2 m =6.561
=6.6 approx
