Most pedometers these days allow you to enter your weight and then they give an estimate of calories burned. The ones I have seen are designed for walking but check a sporting goods store to see if there are ones for running.

I don't know. But I read an article that said joging a mile uses 300calories. I think 10 steps will equal 1 calorie.

All you need to know is your weight and how far you ran. That is all that it takes to calculate calories burned. So you can easily do it after the fact. I wouldn't waste money on a device solely to do that calculation for you.

I suspect there are several gadgets like this, but one of the best is the Garmin Forerunner. It doesn't matter which model you get.
