Wow!! There are some frighteningly pathetic answers here! Its amazing that so many people are completely clueless as to who Thoth is, (I can't believe some imbecile actually told you to spell Thor right - and then called YOU an idiot! Sad, sad, sad...)

Here's a clue for all the clueless - Thoth is a god in the Egyptian pantheon. Pagans Wager is obviously joking by saying you have to worship Thoth to be saved because Thoth is part of a pantheon, and thus, would not be worshiped exclusively by anyone who believed in him. At any rate, in the Egyptian pantheon, if you were concerned about eternal life, you would be more likely to pray to Osiris about it. Thoth would probably be more likely to be the primary, (but not exclusive), deity for scholars and other learned people, (which are obviously in rather short supply here).
