What do you think about the end of the world or if there even is one?

I think its a glorious time for Christians to get excited about. It means that our faith will be revealed to everyone soon, according the Bible. But that also means that Christians should take their responsibilities as believers that much more seriously. This doesnt mean we should attack others, though. Everything we do should be done in a manner of respect and love. I do believe we are close to the end of this world because many prophecies in the Bible that are signs of the World's end have come true or are coming true. I could elaborate, but I don't want my answer to be a long one.

The term "end of the world" can be misleading.
Jeus taught there was an end of the "Age".
The Age refers to a present world system that is mostly under the control of an evil spiritual power known as Satan and his angels. It is a world filled with corruption and vice and especially rebellion against and hatred for God (in spite of all the religion).
This age will shortly come to a close after Satan installs his world ruler (called the Antichrist), and he rules over all civilization for a brief time, and then is destroyed by the Appearance of Jesus Christ when He returns to rescoe the nation of Israel and establish a 1000 year reign of peace and harmony, during which time Satan will be bound for a thousand years. For the final scenario read the Book of Revelation in the Bible, especially the last 4 chapters.

I think she is talking about the end of mankind and or life on the planet, not the destruction and dissapearance of Earth. I believe the world could come to an end any time. You can't predict when a global life ending event could occure. There are terrorists that have nuclear weapons that could destroy the world ten times over. You just never know. But I wouldn't doubt that if we hit world war 3, which is pretty much happening right now, could do alot of damage if it escalates.

Armageddon = Apocalypse
Apocalypse really means:
Apocalypse (Greek: APOKALYPSIS, literally: the lifting of the veil), is a term applied to the disclosure to certain privileged persons of something hidden from the mass of humankind.
In other words the exposure of the truth which has been hidden from humankind.
That is definitely coming soon. It is the end of the world as we have known it, no the destruction of the world.
Rather large difference between those two, don't you think?

I don't think anyone knows when that will be. Until it happens, I plan to live life to its fullest and to make sure my moral compass stays pointed in the right direction. The last thing a person should do is dwell on it and live their life with fear. That would be a waste of what your God has given you.

read the Book of Revelations.....lots of explanations....also in the Bible, states there will earthquakes, war, rumors of war.....but it says that people will be saying that it is the end of times, but the beginning of the end is once the Gospel is preached to the ends of the earth, Jesus then the end will come back for the people who accepted Him as their savior, then..........you know what.......read or see the movie "Left Behind", that should give you a good picture of whats gonna happen
