Yes, thats fine, do NOT use any mouth wash, this will just burn like crazy, it doesn't do much to heal the wound, stick to warm salt water 2-3 times daily, and peroxyl, if thats what your Dr. recommended. I'd stay away from liquids with alcohols in them, that may burn ur wound.....oh n for pain use some ambisol.....numbing it may help if ur in a lot of pain.

Hurts a bit but salt will keep it from going manky. I've tried everything you can buy for mouth ulcers and nothing treats them better than salt (Not in solution, just rub it in and grimace for 2 minutes). I repeat about every 2 hours for a day and then all is well in the morning.
:)

the good news is that the tissues inside the mouth are some of the most rapid healing tissues in our body. I would minimize the rinses to only after you eat. Some of the normal fauna in your mouth aids in healing by providing the right enzymes so you don't want to be rid of all bacteria. The wound inside the mouth will likely heal faster than the wound on the surface of your face.

OUCH--saltwater? The peroxide should do the trick and keep it from getting infected. Be careful of what you eat and make sure you just rinse not swallow the peroxide. Try keeping your mouth a little open, natural air is a good healer also.

Gargle with warm salt water 2-3 times a day... it'll take a few days but it should calm down.

Try not to eat anything really acidic cuz that will irritate your sore. Try taking vitamin C...I had a bunch of canker sores and when I started taking vitamin C they disappeared in a day or two...I know yours isnt a canker sore, but it couldnt hurt, right? I hope it heals up soon..! good luck!
