Yup. Every religion has it, its just worded different. Too bad some people dont actually live by it.

No to both questions. I don't really follow the Golden Rule because I'm an american. There, I've said it.
Now to speak on my own terms. I tend not to obey the Golden Rule, but I also do as much as I don't. So I'm kinda 50/50. It should be used more then ever in the world we live in today. We can't completely get rid of suffering, but we can dwindle it down to a lot less.

Yes. I follow the golden rule. It should be relevant today. If it were the world would be a better place. The world now consists of people with me complexes.

I absolutely do! It's just too bad more people don't tho. What a much better world this would be if everyone did unto others as they would have done unto them. Can you imagine what this world would be like if even half the people obeyed the "Golden Rule"?! No more wars, killing, hurting one another needlessly. What the world needs is to LOVE one another as they would be loved...

The Golden Rule is just common sense. Besides, the Jews took the Golden Rule from the Ancient Egyptians when they lived with them for over 400 years.

I try to obey God's word, but since I am not perfect I sometimes don't . When that happens I
ask forgiveness & do not repeat the sin again .

Absolutely! It's the only way we can change behaviour.
Just look at the middle-east, where they believe in revenge.
The violence will just escalate from generation to generation.
They can't understand that the west is really there to help.
