put a lot of money into burials? Does it make you feel guilty if you bury a love one the cheapest way possible? I think the money should be invested in the living. I don't need the frills. What say you?

In my humble opinion, I would rather my family celebrate the fact that I'm finally with Jesus then worry about whether I'd be upset over being put in a cheap box. With all respect towards those who feel the need to have an expensive funeral, I think it's all for show and/or egotistical especially if the deceased made such arrangements for themselves. Personally, Jesus has promised me a new body and I won't be needing the current one, so let doctors take whatever parts of it can help another living human. I'm going Home!

I want to be cremated in the cheapest way possible then put in a coffee can and have my ashes spread somewhere.

I agree, but you don't have a funeral for the dead, you have it for the living.
