Why do you think it's too big? Did you make the enclosure or was it pre-made? Are the subs infinite baffles? If you need to fill the air, you would insulate opposite walls in the enclosure. Good luck.

If you are certain the box is too large, you can just put something inside the box to take up air space. Preferably it would be something that won't slide around or can be attached to the side of the box, and won't add much weight. A large block of styrofoam would be ideal.

What problems are you having that make you think the box is too large?

You need to put ports in the back of the box so the air around the back side of the cone can equalize. If you don't the speakers will self destruct prematurely.

Make a couple of ports then put in some insulation material
