i am again 14 yrs old and am like a goodie girl its going to catch my whole family off guard of course my mom knows but i dont kno how they will react and (also how many 14 yr olds like tongue rings on girls?)

Tell them you have decided that pretty and feminine isn't for you, that looking ugly is much more to your style. I'm sure they will understand. It's all about free choice, right?

unless you're planning on puncturing your tongue with a sharp needle at home, you need parent's permission in order to do so since you are under 18... and i've seen very few 14 yr olds with tongue rings, so maybe u should wait a few years....

God i didn't think people even got tongue rings anymore. Now i feel old. I had my tongue done, my eyebrow and belly button. Eventually i took them all out for one reason or another. I've never liked the tongue ring though.

Um... Not to be a downer, but RU F***ING CRASY!!!!! At least ur mom knows, but not many guys are attracted to girls with tounge rings, it will hurt alot, and being a goody-2-shoes and doing this without even telling your family seems really drastic. Probably not the best idea and I wouldn't do it if i were u. That's just me.

O my gosh, did you really do that????!! I am 14 as well. I think you should talk quietly to your family. Start to explain them why did you do it, smile and then hug them.
