Yes it is. as a matter of fact, RBmotoring has many gtrs for sale. At rbmotoring the cars have already undergone the legalization process so you won't need to worry about that like other gtr sellers. They sell pretty much anything. Heres a link.

There are a few for sale in the US, just check out EBAY and Craigslist(portland, or) right now, because I saw one for sale the other day. I know of one for sale in OREGON, that is selling for $32,000. Now, getting insurance, or even a loan for one, that is a whole different problem. Most banks and finance companies will not loan you money for one, and nearly all insurance companies will not insure the car, unless you pay and enormous premium.

ive also been told that the reason they dont sell them in the us is because they dont meet emissions standards so if you were to buy them you have to buy some permit on your title or something weird like that in order to own one...but if you have the money i think it would be totally worth it
