First of all, where do you live? A wedding in rural West VA cost very different than a wedding in Manhattan. But regardless, a wedding planner that plans your entire wedding will cost close to $10,000 right there. You can get a day-of planner at an hourly rate, but still, it's not cheap. If you plan the wedding yourself, $10,000 is do-able. It's not going to be a platinum wedding you dreamed of, but you can make it nice as long as you are crafty and can do some DIY projects (like invitation, wedding favors, etc.). $6-7,000 is tougher, but I've heard people have been able to do a wedding for just $5,000, but those people buy a lot of stuff like the wedding dress off of ebay. $10,000 is not unreasonable. The knot has a great wedding budget tool, you just tell the tool how much money you have, how many people you plan to invite, and it will automatically populate how much money you should spend on each category like food, flowers, etc. Both of you have to be comfortable with the budget and you should NOT go into debt. You two are still young, you can always have a 5 or 10 year wedding anniversary party to renew your vows and do all the things you can't afford to do right now.

If you are having a bar, the fee for the bartenders and beverages of whatever kind you are servings. Is the venue providing dinnerware and flatware, table linens and napkins, glasses and cups.
For the ceremony fees or gratuities for musicians, the officiant, and acolytes.
Attendant gifts, personal gifts to each other. Rehearsal dinner - restaurant? self prepared? catered?
Good Luck, that's all I can think of right now.

Monogramed napkins, chair covers (they are not expensive and make the reception look very upscale!! these can be rented), gifts for the attendants, gifts for the groomsmen, photographer, videographer, and a cash donation to the minister or justice of the peace.
