I have been going to see lots of doctors and therapy for my back. I cannot mow my own lawn and have a lawn svc do it for me was wondering if anyone might know if I am able to write this off on my taxes towards my medical?

Only if you have a letter from your doctor. It would be similar to having a home-health care person coming to your house to help with housework. It can be written off as a medical expense, but it has to be "prescribed" by your doctor for you to do so. You have to be permanently disabled.

It's very controversial, though. Some will say that you should move into an apartment where you have no lawn care to worry about. Others will say that having household/yard help will keep you from having to go into a nursing home and is therefore cheaper for the gov. for you to deduct than for you to deduct the cost or a nursing home.

Lawn care is a personal non-deductible expense regardless of who performs the activity.

No, that's not deductible, even if it was recommended by your doctor.
