DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION

That's a scam. The government, even private foundations who give grants, will NEVER call people to tell them that they give grants -- but wants your bank info. If you give it to them, they'll siphon off your account.

There are too many grant scams out there from companies promising to give you grants or write grants for you. Read the warning from the FTC

http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2004/03/grantresources.htm
http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt134.htm

Here is also one of the warnings issued by the Better Business Bureau http://www.concord.bbb.org/tips_timesharescams.html

If you want information on grants, go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov - these are two sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grants. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any grant that would support your purposes.

Do not give them your information. Ask yourself why they are offering you a grant. I am assuming you did not apply to them for money.

While American Standard Financial is a legit company, they do a lot of financing for furniture stores as well as other loans. I have never heard of them offering grants. They pay the company you are purchasing from and you pay them.

I do not believe this is ASF. Sorry.

That's a total SCAM! Do NOT give them any of your banking details. They will drain your account before you are even aware of what is happening.

If you have provided them with any information at all, IMMEDIATELY call your bank and explain what is going on. They will block any ACH withdrawals from your account and will work with law enforcement to try and track down the fraudsters.

I sure hope you didn't give them the bank account information - if you did, you've been SCAMMED.
