I'm not afraid of morbid..but I have no desire to BE morbid. I think the darker sides of life are interesting.

It has its place, just as everything else does. You shouldn't force morbidity into a situation where it obviously doesn't belong, say a 5 year old's birthday party.
But, when appropriate, people shouldn't fear it.

Some people have stronger stomachs than others. Some people can discuss anything medical (for example) and it's interesting, not gross or embarassing. Then there are other people who upon hearing some graphic physical condition actually gag. So it just depends on where you fall.
