I believe it's possible

Not really, but I do have one intriguing idea: if time travel is ever invented, then there are time travelers around now, and have been in the past. How many inexplicable events will turn out to be time travelers altering the course of history? Was that the Angel Gabriel or a traveler who knew that he needed to justify all those legends about Jesus being born of a virgin?

Ever wonder where those really ancient coins that look like they're brand new have been all these years? Same with stamps and other collectibles. That might be time travelers turning a very hefty profit.

I think it may be possible to time travel. It may be very easy. But if so, then something is preventing time travelers from altering our timeline. Either they end up in a different, parallel universe, when they go back in time, or there is a Time Police organization that prevents time travelers from changing history. Otherwise, disasters like 9-11 would get averted by time travelers. And we'd see tons of odd-looking tourists from the future wearing weird clothes and speaking a strange version of English.

yes because if you travel at a rate of 299,792,458 m/s then time dilates and you stand still in time if its 2007 for you now and you did that then came back in 2009 it would still be 2007 for you and you'd be no older, but it would still take the 2 years to travel like that, so you just remain younger

but as einstein said

'if time travel is possable, where are all the time travellers from the future'

FYI that speed is the speed of light (or any other form of electromagnetic radiation) in a vacum

I time travelled 10 seconds into the future in the time I wrote this.

aside from the problems with the physics (I don't believe it is possible in this universe), if time travel were real we could reasonably expect time travelers in pretty much every age of mankind. Sooner or later, one of them would foul up and give themselves away. Sheer chance and bad luck would take care of that. Yet, time travelers seem to be absent from history.

Anything is possible. At least that was the way I was raised. Wouldn't it be interesting to travel back in time. I believe it would.

Time traveling is easy.

Unfortunately, it only works in one direction.

...

The faster an object moves, the slower time passes for it. From the point of view of the stationary objects around it, the moving object is traveling into the future.

Absolutely.

As you can see, we're travelling right now, into the future. We just happen to experience it as the present, but we're further down the time line then we were a few seconds ago. In fact, since you started reading this, you've travelled through the dimension of time. Exciting, huh?

Give science a 100 or 1,000 or 1,000,000 years more to work on the problem and I would bet with long odds that we will figure out time travel.

Yes, we travel forward one second every second. Funny how that works, huh. Do I think we will ever possess the ability to travel forward and backwards through time at our own whim... I hope not, the paradox would kill us all.

Blessed Be )O(
