Not necessarily. Some will, just as an additional incentive to get you to come in, but most sell as is and where is as regards used vehicles, which is why it's important to check them out carefully before you open your wallet. At the very least have your mechanic look at it, and get a carfax report on the vehicle.

It is not required for them to give you a vehicle history. You can ask for one but in the end it is your responsibility to research the car you buy.

no but you can get one from carfax.com for a few bucks.
