Chicken? Beef? It'd have to be a meat. Nothing else is so universal. Rice is pretty widely used, as are pasta/noodles.

vegies...
rich countries want to stay healthy so vegies is the best.
poor countries that can't afford to buy meat eat veggies for living.
actually it's not favorately but mostly use in the whole world.
not all the countries as rich as US to have enough money to buy meat for their meals everyday. Ex: asia

I would definately say CHOCOLATE. Everybody loves chocolate theres German chocolate, Belgian chocolate, Swiss chocolate, Hershey's chocolate, etc.... The world loves chocolate!!!
