I am making Gucamole ( I don't know how to spell it lol.) And I need an easy recipe. I have no peppers on hand and i need a seasoning to make it spicy! Please help Thanks.

mash the avacado and add salsa. That will add spice.

If you have any crushed red pepper that will work - so will sharp paprika or cayenne pepper. Just smash the avocado in a bowl, add onion (chopped fresh or dried) , pepper (to spice you like), 1/2 teaspoon oregano and 1/4 teaspoon lemon or lime juice to prevent browning.

INGREDIENTS

* 2 avocados
* 1 small onion, finely chopped
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 1 ripe tomato, chopped
* 1 lime, juiced
* salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

1. Peel and mash avocados in a medium serving bowl. Stir in onion, garlic, tomato, lime juice, salt and pepper. Season with remaining lime juice and salt and pepper to taste. Chill for half an hour to blend flavors.

Here are some things you might have on had to add the spice to whatever recipe you choose:

Pepper sauce (like Tabasco)
Crushed red pepper
Cayenne pepper
Hot salsa
Hot chili powder
Hot taco seasoning mix
Freshly ground black pepper

I never measure when I make it but these are the ingredients: avacados, roma tomatoes (chopped), onion- usually red and chopped, garlic cloves (chopped), jalepeno peppers, either pickeled or fresh and chopped. Also, salt to taste.
