I was looking around at jobs when I came across an ad for a

What kind of job would this be? And can girls do it or are guys the only ones perferred? Any answers would be great!

The duties a Custody Officer performs are varied. They include booking inmates into the facility, releasing inmates, supervising the housing modules, transporting to courts and medical appointments and responding to emergencies in the facility.

It sounds like the care and handling of inmate records with one of the local...and more likely...state corrections facilities.
