Well, I shouldn't speak for them, but it's apparent to me that they define it as something like "Standing up for what you believe no matter what".

As an atheist, I think that it's more important to believe the correct things in the first place, and that changing your mind in the face of new evidence is a sign of integrity.

In short, I think that the atheists' definition is centered on being honest, while the believers' definition is centered on being unchanging.
