One of my answers from less than three hours ago was reported and deleted. So far, everything I've said today has had backing within the Hebrew bible, you know, the one that hasn't been tampered with by Greeks and Romans. Yet, someone felt the need to report one of my answers. Is this yet another example of christian persecuting because someone doesn't agree with them and has the proof to back their position?

Will my persecutor have the guts to tell me who they are and why they reported my answer, or will they simply hide and hope I don't figure it out?

It was probably some weak minded fool who seems to believe their translation is flawless and all others, including those that predate theirs and are closer to the source, are blaphemy.

Note to Christians: If your Bible is in English it has gone through at least 3 translations. From Hebrew, Egyptian, Greek, or some form of Aramaic to Latin, Latin to German, German to English. Granted, not all English Bibles took the same route to get there but they all had to make a couple of stops at languages that don't directly translate. Deal with it. Your book CANNOT POSSIBLY be an infalible copy of the original. English lacks many of the words in the original languages and vice versa.

Ach, I'm still pleased that you gave me a Best Answer today. I probably would have starred your answer, given the subject. It's great to see other people writing who understand that Christianity is far removed from the Hebrew scriptures.

Thanks, btw. And sympathies on the deletion. Your work on this topic is sound.

I just got here a few minutes ago, so I have no idea of what's been going on. (Or, to be more accurate, less idea of what's been going on than I usually don't.)

And in any event, this is one Christian who doesn't believe in hitting the Report button. I can hold my own in a discussion, and I don't feel the need to report someone because they have a different opinion than mine.

I've already had multiple violations and deletions for benign Q's and A's.

Its like the other day, when I got a ticket for turning on yellow(which everyone does but the cop said it was red). They just lay in wait, all bunched up at the intersections with most traffic.

Just like here in R&S.

Its okay. You get over it really quick.

By not offering a golden rules concept for mankind he will continue to believe in superstition and harsh rules that we do not need in an effort to maintain some kind of control .
