Most Atheists are probably just as knowledgeable of your bible as you are. Christians are pushy only when they really don't understand Christianity.

So, we admit that the Bible is historically correct...good for you!
So, why would it be bad to produce historical knowledge by reading the Bible? What is it that is so frightening about reading the Bible?
Is it that you'd like to push atheists and agnostics into rejecting any knowledge of God?
Just what are you pushing, today????????

I'm an atheist and every day I have the christian religion shoved down my throat. In Illinois you cannot buy a car on Sunday, in South Carolina you cannot buy liquor on Sunday. At least once a week a have church flier taped to my front door when I get home from work. Last Thursday, while in a Home Depot store, a man walked past me a handed me a pamphlet on how the lord can save me.
Christians are CONSTANTLY trying to sneak into government and pass faith-based laws and force me to follow them.

I'm a catholic, but I agree that we shouldn't be pushing our religion on anyone. I have friends who believe in different things than I, but I don't try to shove my religion down their throats. It's wrong to do that to someone. Make them question what they believe, because God made free will for a reason and everyone is entitled to that right.

You cannot be pushed in to believing something that you know is not rational. Unless you are captured by Bush's stormtroopers and tortured for weeks on end.

I'm not an extreme Christian. I never have really been close to God. I get the "word of God" thrown at me tons of times. They really need to get their own life.
