Someone, who in spite of not having any long term relationships work out to their advantage, keeps believing that some day they will find the "right" person. Keeping that hope alive and being open to try new experiences with yet another person just says "hopeless romantic" to me.

Someone who eats up that mushy, lovey-dovey stuff and loves to be romantic. Many times in a relationship, the "novelty" (romance) can wear off a bit and a true hopeless romantic couldn't stand that. They have to have that novelty throughout their relationship. Many people (such as myself), find romance to be nice and all, but it isn't a huge necessity to make the relationship work.

U spend so much of ur life, looking for the kind of love that only seems to happen in story books. The thing is, when other people give up, you're still looking for that perfect, romantic, prince charming

You see romance in everything. That's the basic part of it, generally. Or you might see people around you that you're interested in, and you can picture falling in love, and getting married, when you hardly know them yet. You daydream about romance, you cry and sigh in the right parts of chick flicks and songs. You want everything to turn out like the movies, fall in love, the once-in-a-lifetime, intense kind of thing. And reality is harsh, because things don't usually turn out like movies, and happy endings are exceedingly hard to come by.

To me, it's someone who loves to read romance stories, movies, etc. Someone who believes in love and who wait for this one guy forever.
