No, no, no! Not Pandora, Smandora. It was Medusa. And she didn't can the fruit, she canned the talking snake that escaped from her head when she didn't braid it in to her dreads correctly. That snake had delusions of grandeur and had been talking about this gorgeous babe in the garden that he intended to put some serious moves on. Some of his homies had told him that the gorgeous babe was having serious doubts about her level of knowledge. She felt like a dumb gardener and wanted more out of life and she was bored, bored, bored with the monotony of always having everything perfect. Besides, she suspected her man of messing around with this witch name Lilith. Anyways, I can't finish this cuz it will take till the middle of next week and I'm tired. The story ends with Medusa chasing the snake down a rabbit hole where they run into this girl named Alice who wears glass slippers and accidentally steps on the snake, and things get really complicated.

What does Eve have to do with Pandora? Pandora's box has nothing to do with the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Was Pandora's Box made from wood from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? ;0)

edit: How was that a question to inspire crankiness?

No.

First off, the Pandora myth is older than the Bible/Torah.

Secondly, Pandora never PUT anything in the box. The box was filled by Zeus and given to her.

Whether Adam and Eve are held in high esteem is debatable, however, the phenomenon in which their names are often mentioned and deeds paraphrased is one of the cornerstones of Christianity, it is the prototypical story used to "generate" humanity's original sins to pave the way for Jesus and his works, otherwise Jesus' job would be pointless. Everybody knows that everyone can go the wrong way or be bad at one time or another, but to forever imprint the tale of Adam and Eve's pioneering defiance to God's will in the Book of the Religion, the Bible, is a cunning doctrinal tactic to inculcate the impressionable masses.

There were no fruits left, Buddha ate them all. Plus i think Pandora had some sweet cherry in her box not apples, apples in her box would be just wrong. :)
