If it says thou shall not kill then why does God give Samson the strength to kill thousands?

the command was "'you shall not murder" that is killing without provocation. Why do you think God gave the Israelites the ability to overcome their enemy in battle. Do you think he would issue a command and then allow them to break it? contrary to some beliefs god does not break his own laws, only silly people would believe that out of sheer desperation to believe a lie

This is the kind of immature thinking that causes people to stray. Samson's story has nothing to do with God's commandment that we not kill one another. If your teacher tells you not to talk in class, does that mean you shouldn't answer her when she asks you a question about your school work? Wake up, my friend.

Well...'thou shall not kill' should be translated more as 'thou shall not murder'. Killing is fine, after all god is the worst serial killer of all time, it's just murder that is wrong.

And you must remember that god makes the rules, so he can cheat at will...and he does.
