The gov't has no reason to promote homosexuality by legalizing same-sex marriage or civil unions. The gov't's primary responsibility is to ensure the survival of its population. If homosexuality rises in popularity, it becomes more difficult to reproduce the population. Supreme Court precedent says that God created the family, not the gov't of the United States. Therefore, we should honor the Bible's guidelines. We have no right to change what defines marriage. The Supreme Court is supposed to rule based on precedent, not just their opinion. American precedent favors traditional marriage and the nuclear family.

My 3000 year old goat skin did not say that. Everyone sins in one way or another and their is no such thing as married homosexual - marriage is between a man and a woman -so even a unmarried male and female is in the same boat as you.

NOBODY IS BEING DENIED ANY RIGHTS. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK, LIVE, WORSHIP AS YOU CHOOSE, GO TO THE COLLEGE YOU CHOOSE, MARRY IF YOU CHOOSE, HAVE CHILDREN IF YOU CHOOSE,
EVEN KILL A CHILD IN AN ABORTION IF YOU CHOOSE.
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO A LAWYER SHOULD YOU NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD ONE. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND RELIGION (although gays are working very hard to take those away from everyone except them) YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO TRAVEL TO A FOREIGN COUNTRY; YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO FILE FOR SOCIAL SECURITY SHOULD YOU BECOME DISABLED; YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO PRIVACY. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE THE TYPE OF CLOTHING YOU WEAR; YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO SIT ON THIS COMPUTER ALL DAY IF YOU WANT TO; YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO JOIN A POLITICAL GROUP; YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE;
YOU HAVE ALL THE SAME RIGHTS AS THE NEXT PERSON HAS. NOBODY IS DENYING YOU ANY RIGHTS
THAT THE NEXT PERSON HAS. STOP WHINING AND BEGIN TO REALIZE THAT THE WORLD IS NOT HERE TO
BECKON TO YOUR INABILITY TO CONTROL YOUR SEXUAL URGES. WHAT YOU DO IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR OWN BEDROOM IS ALSO YOUR RIGHT. DO THAT.

Well, Jesus died so we do not have to live under the law, which means we can eat shrimp and pork. But can we just keep a few of the old laws to justify gay bashing. Its just so much fun.
Watch them bleeed.

The farther you go back in time, the more acceptable homosexuality becomes. In Alexander's time it was not even frowned on.

It all depends on how much you happen to hate people who are different than you are.
There is a lot of stuff in that old book. The believers just pick out the passages that are useful to them and support what they already believe. And yes- they believe that people who are different than they are should have fewer rights (or burn in hell for all eternity).

No, but considering there is no way to procreate from homosexual sex, I'd say nature agrees that it isn't normal behavior. I'm not in agreement that denying rights is appropiate, but stop trying to force it down my throat as "normal" and "natural".
