I'm 16 and am looking for a place to get a tattoo. Mom's helping me look for a parlor that will do minors, but it's hard to find one. I'll be 17 next month, and Mom's cool about me getting one...so does anyone know a place near the Virginia Beach/Chesapeake area that WILL do 16 year-olds with parents present?

I believe you can go to Blue Horseshoe Tattoo, but they are kind of expensive but worth it as well and they are very professional. Another place you could get it from and I know for a fact that they will do it for you with a parent present is Slamm Dragon in Hampton, Va if you are willing to do that that and they do really nice tattoos as well, my best friend got her done there when she was either 16 or 17 and it looks really nice. on account which you're actually not yet 18 you're actually not seen an person even nonetheless you're married. in the journey that your husband is over the age of 18 he's your criminal mom or father and might for this reason consent to the tattoo. If he isn't of criminal age himself, then you will would desire to the two get your parents consent or wait until eventually you're the two 18.

Good luck. 18 is the age, with or without parental consent. You can in Maryland and Delaware with a parent present. You may have to call around in neighboring North Carolina (outer banks, or eliz. city area) and check with them. I haven't heard of any legitimate places in Va that will do it. If they will, I would double check if all permits are up to date.

Don't get a tattoo. It will be wicked awesome for about 2 weeks. Then it will just be awesome. Then after a few months it will just be cool. After a year it will just be there. Eventually it will be lame and then wicked lame. But you'll be stuck with it. Which will make you wicked lame. I'm tellin' ya' don't do it.
