It depends... if its a relationship between 2 ADULTS then No, age really holds no bearing... Me and my hubby are 20 years apart (I'm 24 and he's 44) and we've been together for over 6 years...

Age only matters when its illegal...like a minor and an adult...and not sure where your from but I'm pretty sure in the USA some states have different laws as to whats legal...example a 10 year age gap...etc...

Simply put, no. We have various relationships for various reasons. Age is just a number. If you find the person you are in love with who could perhaps be say many years younger/older and they relate to you on the same maturity level, hell yes, that would be an ideal mate for you. Don't fret about this age thing because you may be at a stage in your life that someone at your age level cannot fulfill. I've seen so many good relationships go by the wayside when people get so caught up in this age thing. Go with the flow and let your love show if if this is the one for you.

Well personally I think no. Every guy I dated has been older. But technically yes, it does matter. When the couples are so far away in age, they are at different points in their lives. That can create problems. At different ages you want different things. For example, When someone is still in college and the other already has a career. The one out of college is looking to create a family where the other probably just wants to have fun still. That doesn't mean that relationship can't work but it needs a great deal of more understanding for each other. If you are on the same maturity level it most likely will work out.

Sure, it can. It depends on the people...if the age gap is quite large the people are more likely to have different interests, be at different places in life, and had different life experiences as well as possible differences in maturity levels.

Some people say it doesn't matter to them...as long as both parties are adults it doesn't legally matter. Many people do have preferred age ranges for those they date though (I do). It's simply a preference. I don't find I have much in common with those a lot younger or a lot older than myself.

If you are both 18 or older then age doesn't matter. Just as long as you love each other. My fiancee and I are 12 years apart. He is 35 and I am 24.

that depends. if it is between a 15 year old with her 25 year old teacher, then yes, very much so. if it is between a 25 year old and a 40 year old, no it is not. bottomline, it is how individuals compliment each other, how they are comfortable with each other, how their mind waves jive with each other. yes, there will be comments of course coming from friends, families, nosy neighbors whos name you cant even remember, especially if the age difference is high. there are also special considerations one has to make like feelings of those close to both parties (cant blame the kids hating the partner of parents who have relationships with males/females of same age or worse, younger than them). but bottomline, the 2 individuals will be the one to make a decision, not those around them.

Age dosen't matter. Feelings for another person are what matters. I am an older woman dating a younger man and I am absolutely in LOVE. We get along great and I wouldn't trade him for anything or anybody.

First, it depends on the age difference.
a couple years or so should not be a problem.
love is love, there isnt an age limit on that.

but if your having alot problems in a relationship
because of age then it might be time to reconsider.
