Lance, great question. I am a Canadian citizen who has been living in the US for 6 years now.
You will not have the same credit history!
Both countries have separate credit reporting bureaus that creditors report to.
If you do not have any accounts in Canada (i.e. car loan, mortgage, student loan, credit car) then you will not have any credit history in Canada....and vice versa.
A quick yahoo search of "Canadian Credit Reports" will offer information on the various credit bureaus in Canada.

No, your credit history will not transfer to Canada from the U.S.
There are many reasons why credit reports do not transfer from one country to the next. The main reason behind this is because of differences in national laws. Every country, and the European Union, has its own laws governing credit reporting and information use. In addition to legal barriers, there are significant contractual complications around how businesses in other countries would access reports, report and update information and respond to consumer disputes. There also are a number of technical issues around how information is collected, stored and shared that further complicates transferring your credit report.

while my chum from West Virginia moved to Toronto, her super credit scores/Hx wasn't transfered, yet once you prepare for a mastercard once you get to Canada, they'll ultimately ask you in case you have had previous mastercard/s and from there they'll on occasion base your recognition, properly assuming which you're working and or have been given super sum of money on your account. i comprehend for a actuality that in case you progression to US from Canada, your credit historic previous in simple terms isn't transferred. Canada and US does use the two Equifax and TransUnion credit status exams companies.
