Did it surprise you that we all just want to love one another?

Didn't surprise me at all:)

At our core, we all really want the same things. Its just since we are unique and have our own ideas about things, we may chose a different path to follow. But regardless of what anyone thinks, we all come from the SAME Divine Source and will all go back to that same Source when our physical dies.

BTW, I don't do man made religion, I'm merely a spiritual being having a human experience and embracing the lessons I learn along the way:)

Have an uplifting day!

edited to add:
Just taking a look at some of the feedback from people of varying faiths, is exactly why I don't do man made religion. It seems to only divide everyone over silly stuff. My religion is "better" or "my religion is the ONLY way to God." Its all insanity and people sound like children when they profess such nonsense. As if God can be summarized or all encompassed into one little box aka religion.

Anyway, We are essentially One, from a spiritual standpoint anyway.

I have received so much positive and wonderful feedback from ppl all over the country and even in other contries, from pastors to just us regular ppl. you know. amen....
Its been so wonderful < I have taught some new things and others have taught me too . ITs great to share and learn together. I have also had some negative feedback, and some absolutely nasty feedback from some muslims, athiests and gay ppl. oh yes, but I dont let it deter me. God says to live the truth and speak the truth, boldly, without fear or compromise and leave the rest to Him. thats what I do. We can only love and pray for those that dont yet know the Lord We can continue to love them and pray them thru, but the ultimate decision is theirs alone to make.
God is soo Good, all the time This yahoo ministry is wonderful. I am learning so much.
But for the wicaan that has been writing me, please leve me alone, I will not answer any more attacks from you. But I still love you andpray for you WE cant help someone who doesnt want it, but we can pray . And God does not want us to take that type of abuse. They dont hear it, so we go and leave them to God and keep on praying and loving them.
But, if anyone else is getting hate mail like I do from that wiccan guy, just know you dont have to take it. speak once and then let him go and leave him to God. LEts stay in positive ministry for the Lord. ITs all good . I count it all as joy

Ahhh.. but faith and love are two different things. Faith is the substance of things hoped for... Love is an outward expression of our relationship with God to others.....

I am guessing you mean "religion" instead of faith... and I rarely see positive feedback from others about my religion... there seems to be a general animosity towards religion. I don't blame them... many many "faiths" have not done much to promote goodwill and loving each other.

I suppose the best way to react to negative feedback or questions is to approach each of your answers with a spirit of love and helpfulness. Never dip down to the level of the sarcastic, angry hater.... it doesn't change their minds and it makes you feel icky.

I wish that more "religious" people were more like you... truly wanting to spread a spirit of love. Unfortunately, we deal with over-zealous, self-righteous, judgemental religious folk every single day. The ones who "get it" are few and far between.

I have to say - it always humbles me when the Lord chooses to reveal that I did something right. I am so thankful for that feeling. It's hard to describe because there is no pride there at all, yet I feel good. I think it's because I'm learning about what true love really is, and when someone says something to me like "wow that really helped" or "you are so kind" (which I don't know that I am), I feel like, Holy cow the Lord really IS working in me and it's a deeper bonding that takes place not only in my relationship with Him, but an all encompassing relational family thing that draws the person in too.... sort of like a "prodical brother" thing...

I hope I 'splained that right - I know what it is in my heart, but it's hard to put into words.

blessings :)

I have, in some cases, including from devout Protestant evangelicals. Unfortunately, I have also received much negative feedback, particularly from evangelical Christians, who as a group need very much to work on playing nicely with the other children in the World Sandbox. Evenif you are certain you are right, your behaviors mark you as bullies all too often.

I've received positive feedback about my faith in God - but surely also negative feedback. Most people are open to hearing about my faith, though. I think most people tolerate other people's faith as long as you don't try to convert them!

Can say I get or need positive feedback about my faith especially as I'm a spirit filled Catholic. You protestants are usually up one side of me and down the other! It would surprise me if you would love me as a sister in Christ.

Not in this forum have I ever received positive feedback on my faith. I'm catholic and in actuality all I get here is a lot of backlash. Everyone wants to point out to me how "wrong" the catholic faith is. Oh well, I'm used to it. Sigh....
