There are ways of not having the shots and still going to school. Though I don't think that informing you would do you any good, since obviously you are not of that opinion. It would just be an excuse rather than a real reason that mattered to you. There are side effects with getting a shot, and technically it is a gamble. There are risks with it and most people choose to take the gamble since the potential good far outweighs the potential bad escially since the odds of the bad are miniscule.
_I remeber those shots when I was a kid, and I know that there were several kids that did not have to have them even though they said "you MUST have them" Their parents simply elected to not have it done as the risk wasn't worth it for their kids. You can also get around it if your religion is against the use of modern medicine.
Having said all that, I suggest you learn to stop being childish as you are going to middle school soon. The shot takes very little time. Just ask the doctor to not let you see any of it happen. Close your eyes before he goes to get the needle. And keep them shut until he/she says hes done.

There are some places where they don't use needles but something like an air gun that shoots the medicine into you.
It is not perfect but much better than a shot. Try calling different doctors, hospitals and your local department of health. These guns are used when many shots are given at the same time.

i dont think they would give u an anesthetic for a shot, and i dont think you have an option besides the shot.
BUT
there are things that you can do to make the shot seem less scary
*first, tell the nurse who is giving you the shot that shots freak you out, and maybe they can suggest some way for u to not think about it, and/or put rubbing alcohol on the spot where the shot will go in to make it hurt less (my doctor said it hurts less when u do that)
*squeeze your eyes tight shut, and think about something nice, remember it will be over in a second
*have one of ur parents come in with you to hold your hand or something if that doesn't embarrass you
good luck!

I know it sucks but you'll just have to suck it up. The key is NOT TO OVERREACT!!!! Don't get all worked up before hand and when you get there, look away and concentrate on breathing. It will be over before you know it. I am calm going into it, but for some reason I'll black out afterward... my advice would be to ask if you can lay back for a minute after getting the shot to avoid that dizzy, gross feeling. Don't think about it too much - it really is just a fact of life.... Good luck and take care,

Distract your mind!
Try to look elsewhere and think really hard about good things, it will be over before you know it.
I'm not afraid of needles but sometimes they get me nervous when I haven't had a shot in a long time. They always tell you to look away so you won't panic. Also, tell the nurse/doctor your fear and they'll try to help you.

There's nothing you can do to avoid the shot but you can bite down on something like a pencil to mask the pain slightly, sorry I cant be of more help.

Think happy thoughts. Hardy anyone dies anymore from shots at the doctor. Even if it breaks off in your arm you will live.

Wow, been there...... when I was very small I sewed my finger in a sewing machine. As I had to have shots growing up it took a herd of people to hold me still.
"It won't hurt", they say.... but it isn't about pain it is about FEAR of that needle.
The easiest way to deal with it for me is to BREATHE in for 8 counts, hold for 6 count and then exhale for 10 count. Keep doing this and imagine releasing yourself from your arm...... Your body will relax and it will not feel as frightening.
Imagine, your arm is temporarily AWAY from you.... internally let it go....
Fear is a choice...... choose not to allow it to control you.
You can FEEL a feeling, and CHOOSE not to re-act to it.
Blessings.

ask for a topical anesthetic before they put the needle in you. You won't feel it at all!
