Its because people who really make a lot of money work smarter, not harder. Or they are smart enough to get somebody else to do the hard stuff.

And that's how it's supposed to be. The better education you have the more money you will make. Everybody has to work hard for their education so they should get "reimbursed" for it.
I also agree with the responsibility part from the answerer before.

It also applies that the more money you make the greater the responsibilties you burden. Salaries are not based on the amount of work but instead on the level of which one is responsible for the overall organization.

yeah. my mom works at walmart and she works her but off. she never gets anytime for her self or for me. and a;; she gets paid is about $500 every two weeks. that's a little.
