All too often.

Somedays I'm a snarky b****, sometimes I have more tolerance.

But the dangerous level of ignorance from some here is astonishing...I can't help but try to make these people see a little sense.....

Yeah. There are cures.
a) Walk away for a bit, or take a break for a while (I was gone for 4 months once).
b) Go to a different section (Polls and Surveys is good mind numbing section).
c) Create a troll account (nothing vulgar or rude, just something fun).
d) Try to organize a raid (did this last night for this very reason)
e) Anything I forgot.

I was really experiencing that Friday. Usually I really don't care what other people think, but it seemed like there was so much baiting and judging going on that no one actually cared about what people think, they just wanted to make other people look stupid. I think as a more liberal/progressive Christian I sometimes get the worse of both sides- I can be called "brainwashed" and a "lemming" by non-Christians and a "heathen" and "misled" by the Christians. This isn't always the case, in fact most of the time I get along with everyone. But sometimes it just weighs on you.

It's especially bad when the people whose opinions I genuinely value and respect debase themselves to the mudslinging with the rest of them. Ugh.

Yes I do. It seems like many of the questions are more about putting down or trying to convince others that their viewpoint is wrong. I wish there were more sincere questions that are really seeking an honest response.

Hi,
I should think that it would be expected in the times we live in. The famine for the word of God has begun, and it will probably get much worse from here on out. This was all spoken of by Jesus. It's sad to see, but true. Very little true content, and a whole lot of traditions of men here instead of biblical truth, and history.

Sometimes.
I actually asked one about autism and the belief in God and the answers I got were so hateful I almost deleted my account. (account has since been removed by YA staff)
I have a nephew with autism and the answers I got that reflected a basic premise that I was evil and a monger because I made fun of people with autism.(which I didnt)..actually almost made me cry. Cry not because my feelings were hurt but the lack of humility people have and how they are so quick to judge.

Yes. I played too much yesterday and am pretty much burned out. I here right now only because I'm waiting for a phone call.

Yeah, I get that too. That's a good time to take a break from answering, or venturing off to a different section. Too much R+S isn't good for the brain.
