I have an 2001 F-150 with a single in-dash CD player. My dad swapped his 6 CD in-dash changer out of his 2006 F-250 for a nav system and they gave him the changer back. He asked if I wanted it. Can I swap them out. It looks like it should fit, but will it fit and how do I get the fascia off around the radio and A/C controls?

It won't fit without some modification, and the harness plugs will be completely different. The 2006 F250 radio has a slightly larger chassis and a completely different mounting setup. The F150 won't have the mounting screw holes, and the dash opening is likely to be somewhat smaller than you need. It might be possible to file or cut out the dash and make it work with adapter plugs, but IMO it's likely to be more trouble than it's worth.

The front dash bezel just pulls off; pry or pull carefully around the outside edge.
