The day you discover that you cant be bothered getting sweaty and stinking of booze and waiting in the rain for a taxi home. When a night in front of the TV sounds good. When you're stilletoes are pushed aside for sensible shoes. The night you think Alan Titchmarsh is attractive and find yourself watching gardening programmes. When modern music becomes a noise instead of the latest thing. When a late night bag of chips on a drunken walk home makes you feel sick and you want a salad. When getting to bed at 11pm is the only damn thing you want in all the world. Is that giving you clues?

i've been going clubbin for years, I am now 32. Ever since I got with my man a year ago it hasn't interested me. We went out a couple of weeks ago, it was a mates birthday and he's 19. We were undecided whether to go and went in the end as he said he would be dissapointed if we didn't. My partner, who is 35, and I had a wicked night and were the last ones standing at 3.30am !!!!! I think as you get older you go out less as you tend to settle down, but when you do they are the best nights ever!!!!

In my case at birth! Never been to one... Never want to either.

Why people would want to buy overpriced drinks while getting progressively deafened by a third rate DJ and oggled by people who are usually not that great looking when seen in daylight defeats me. Give me a decent concert or a nice Jazz club any day!

When you get tired of seeing the same old games people play. There is more to life than the clubs. The clubs can be a very dangerous place to be.

It's usually not about age so much as what other responsibilites you have. For instance, once my first child was born, I never really felt the need (or had the time) to go clubbing. But for others (dealing with other issues) it could come much sooner or much later.

why do we have to grow out of them? why not stay young forever..... actually I think about 21/22 for girls and 24/25 for blokes - thats as in doing an all weekender - I think most people still go out once or twice a month to clubs/pubs etc.

You just tend to change your venue choice as you get older.
