I've noticed that as a female I tend to relate to and pray more to the Goddess then the God. As males do you relate more to the Gods?

It's not a "better" relations. I just sort of relate more to the Goddess if that makes any sense. I always include the God in ritual and stuff. Does that make sense?

I agree that the God is left out far too much. In the whole I always include the Gods with the Goddesses. In mediation and ritual always include the Gods and the Goddesses. I cant imagine them being seperate for such a things. But yes when I am on specifics I tend to gravitate toward the goddess. I agre on the mother thing as well. I hadn't thought of it that way.

I honor Hermes, Eos and Aphrodite predominantly. I actually find myself to have more in common with Hermes at this point in my life, but there have been periods in my life when I was focused more on one of the Goddesses. It depends what I've got going on at any given point in my path. At the moment Eos and Aphrodite are sort of in the background, but a few years ago I was much more aligned with Aphrodite and Eos presided largely over my early education and initiation.

Er, you'll need to research what religion. "Paganism" includes any religion that isn't christianity/judaism/islam and "Goth" is a subculture, not a faith. Are you only looking up these religions because you like to wear black? I did that too, a long time ago, so I'm not calling you out on it or anything, but you may be ridiculed by people who are really serious about those religions. Just to warn you. If you live in New England, the Unitarian Universalist church is the closest. Very liberal, all encompassing church with a lot of pagans and agnostics. And open-minded christians. If you're looking into wiccanism, you'll want to find a Coven. They aren't easy to find, try googling "covens in my area." There are numerous other pagan religions, but they are very uncommon, even more so than wiccanism. You probably won't be able to form a group. They hold festivals though, particularly for Samhain, Solstice, etc. If you're looking for Satanism, I recommend hanging around your local Hot Topic.

I tend to call upon the Goddesses almost exclusively, not because I don't have the same respect and love for God, but becasue I am female. I need to feel protected and loved, as those are the emotions that I seem to have a hard time filling myself with. I, like many people, am hard on myself, don't give myself and my body enough love, so when I feel down, I generally ask the Goddess to fill me with love. I am rather filled with masculine energy. Even as a female, I think masculine energy is more acceptable in our society. I am working on bringing more female energy into myself. So I pray to the Goddess. I should probably pray to the god more. Thanks for the reminder

Eh. ::shrugs:: I relate to gods and goddesses about equally. I'm closest to a particular god the best, but that's more a case of personality than anything else.

The deities that I feel the closest connection to are storm gods. I pray more to male deities but I don't think that gender is the reason. I don't really care about gender. I pray to them because they are the deities that respond to me most so I've built a better connection to them.

I tend to relate to God in the form that I always talk to him and save the really tough stuff for the two of them.
I have been to many gatherings and talked with other males and they have said that there are times when they feel that the God is left out.

I noticed that I normally call more on the Goddess when I do separate them from Spirit. I think in those times I feel like I need more of the female energy.

Hard to say... I'm female, and I think I relate to both of Them pretty equally. Obviously if I'm asking about something specific, I will ask one or the other of their aspects as appropriate (for example, healing prayers are directed to the God as Apollo, while requests for justice go to the Goddess as Themis) (I relate to the Greek pantheon, as you probably noticed), but in general day-to-day I think I'm pretty even.

I think it may have less to do with the gender of the practitioner and more to do with the whole mother aspect. Mothers are usually who people turn to when they need a shoulder to lean on, or an ear to listen, or a question answered.
