Chippy, I do read the bible. You just made yourself look like a fool. I am perfectly aware that nephilim are the cross between fallen angels and human females. Fallen angels + Females = nephilim aka demons. You should read Chuck Missler's 'Alien Encounters'.

I do not have a religious classification myself (Agnostic being closest to my beliefs), but yes, I do have an open mind to alien life. Mainly because of findings over the years, same as evolution-type findings. I am drawn to science and proof. And although there isn't factual evidence being talked about on the news, doesn't mean it hasn't been discovered. There are lot's of "cover-ups" going on, and I believe this to be one of them.

And not to burst any bubbles, but many here say there is no proof of alien life...well, there is no proof of god either, so I guess we are all back at square one then huh?

There are actually 3 different interpretations of the Nephilim in Genesis 6, but no unanimous agreement on who or what they were. God can create whatever He chooses and clearly, as evidenced by the creation of the angels, is not limited to creating life only on earth. That said, no, I do not believe in aliens.

I sure hope we are not the only semi-intelligent barely walking up right beings in the universe. If so that is perfect proof that God has a warped twisted sense of humor.

Also, I am sorry to tell both you and Chippy that you are both wrong about Genisus 6. No where does it say fallen angels with human females. What it says is

"1And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."
5And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Sorry no fallen angels or nephilim. God talked about the evil of man and said nothing about his sons being evil.

Humm sons of God?????????????????

more than likely nephilim connected. Extra-dimensional in nature. Physics beyond ours. Evil in purpose. Evil presence that can be felt from them. Play games with peoples minds. Sexual encounters. Exalt them selves against God. Similar to demonic spiritual enounters but can be physical in nature (belgium govt encounters). Jesus name repells them in encounters. look up on yahoo, "Jesus name alien abduction." had experiences my self as a kid and God protected me. Now I don't have them. However not sure all alien encounters are evil. Some may be of good origin. Test them by the spirit of God to know for sure. I havn't dismissed the possiblity that the return of Jesus couls also be like a heuge alien encounter as well. I mean who is to say he dosn't use a very complicated from ot technology or is even beyond tech of that his creations use it. We do.

I am a christian and I believe that aliens could exist. Why should we think we are the only creatures that have ever existed in this 15 billion year old seemingly endless universe, there's even evidence that there may have been lifee on Mars at one point.

I do believe in aliens. I am a Christian , too. I do believe in the story which happened in Texas in 1947. I have seen a lot of world wide documentaries, based on scientific research, read a lot of books about it, listened to lecturers , who claim, there is life on the other planets. Christianity is helpless in this situation. I believe in science.

There is absolutely no proof of aliens or extraterrestrial life, in regards to any type of intelligence.

The astute Bible student is aware of the silence of the Scriptures on this particular matter. The biblical record does not affirm the existence of extraterrestrial life. [NOTE: The word “extraterrestrial” is used here to denote beings with physical makeups, as opposed to spiritual beings such as angels.]

The Bible does make many positive statements about the Earth and the Universe. And in those statements, it is clear that the Earth has been appointed a very unique role. For example, the psalmist stated that “the heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men” (115:16). The Earth, apparently, was created uniquely for mankind. Statements made by the inspired apostle Paul in Acts 17:24-26 echo this same sentiment. It is of interest to note that many celestial bodies—the Moon, the Sun, and stars—are mentioned in Scripture, and even spoken of as having definite purposes. Specifically, the Sun and Moon are said to be useful for marking off days, seasons, and years (Genesis 1:14). And, we are informed that “one star differeth from another star in glory” (1 Corinthians 15:41). Yet no celestial body, except the Earth, is spoken of in Scripture as being a “dwelling place.”

Furthermore, the Earth is unique in that Christ’s activities are described as having occurred on this planet. It was on the Earth that the godhead became incarnate through Christ (see John 1:1ff.). It was on the Earth that Christ died for the sins of men (Hebrews 2:9). It was on the Earth that His bodily resurrection occurred (1 Corinthians 15), and from the Earth that He ascended to His Father in heaven (Acts 1:9-10; Ephesians 4:8-10).

The Scriptures also speak to one other important point. The Hebrew writer stated that Christ died “once for all” (7:27; 9:28). The wording in the original Greek is explicit, meaning that Christ’s death was a once-for-all, never-to-be-repeated event. Creatures possessing freedom of choice make mistakes in attempting to carry out God’s will. Forgiveness of those mistakes comes only through Christ (John 14:6). Since Christ died only once (Hebrews 7:27), it is a seeming violation of Scripture to suggest that He somehow go “planet hopping” to die again and again as the propitiation for infractions of God’s plan by creatures (possessing freedom of choice) in other parts of this vast Universe. These biblical principles should not be overlooked in any discussion of the existence of extraterrestrial life.

I've been a christian now for 15 yrs and have studied many cultures and ancient mysteries and their records all are insinc with these celestial being comming from the sky and teaching them of science, hordiculture, chants, and the minning of precious metals for trade and for metal of war,...... from my in depth study the conclusion is ovious that these Beings were spoken of in the bible in Genisis and other cultures are one in the same,....some might call it mythology because we don't have it documented in our present history,. but when their is a great floods or huge catastrophes that occurs it is inevitable to loose this documentation in part,........but their is much evidence that remains if you look hard enough, but we must remember that their are those angels that are good and have these vehicles that are spoken of in EZEKIEL CH 1 ...............Just think of God as the Great Scientist,........ we were made in his Image and his technology is just much more superior and it is used for Good,....................This is what makes all the difference!......Right!

I believe in aliens. They are fallen angels that are trying to distract us from keeping our eyes on Christ. They're doing a good job aren't they.

I believe in the possibility of other civilizations. There may or may not be other life forms at the present time...but we need to include the possibility of long past or future civilizations.
