I tend to change my mind on this one. When I was in my teens, I did. It was like a symbol of an older man to me I guess, I dunno. In college I didn't care, as long as he didn't have back hair. My late 20s I dated a guy with a pelt on his chest, and I liked it. Now I'm seeing an Asian cat who is sleek chested, and I love it.
I'm sure for some women it has to either be hairy, or slick, but for most it's probably a non issue if they like the guy.

Some girls do, some girls don't. It's like philosophy, there's no right or wrong answer. I'm more in the minority where I say it's a key physical turn-on in a guy. I guess my rationalization for that is that I go to women for the essence of woman, and to men for the essence of man, which to me is more of a representation of a protective bear than a club-chic tree elfish guy. Oh but one thing to avoid is when it gets to a certain stage where its way too long, then you should probably trim that. Same goes for the fro below.

I really don't care for it.
Honestly, I think it depends on the generation you're from.
My mom thinks chest hair is sexy.
I'm 16 and I think it's not attractive, at all.
I've also heard that you start to like it as you get older.
Eh, I guess it really depends on the person. But for this day and age, chest hair isn't as sexy as hairless.

I don't mind a little, but I would much rather prefer a smooth chest.

I like none or a little, but some women do prefer it. Maybe when I get older I'll like it. I'm 25 now.
