Uriah Darns, we may not agree on religion but I APPLAUD YOU for your mature answer. I wish others would follow your example.

Atheist, on the contrary, my soul is located in the center of this shell of flesh I wear as a house for it. We all have souls given by God, which whether you admit it or not directs you back to God. It does not make you serve God, but you do have a yearning to know God. You won't admit it though.

I have a soul. I don't ever think about God not being there because I believe he is. God: I am the Alpha and Omega.
Years ago I had somebody asked me if I believed in God and Heaven and I replied yes. I was then asked if I would feel silly to die and find out that there was no God. I replied by saying " My beliefs in God has help me hold compassion for humankind and to help make me a better person. So no I would not feel silly. But how would you feel to die not believing and then find out there really is a God?" I never did get an answer.

I believe there is some higher power than us. Whether it is called Mother Nature (I’m not a tree hugging hippie) or if we are just like ants in some bigger universe's ant farm, I don't know. I call it god. As for a soul, I believe I have one as well. I find comfort in knowing that this life, which can be filled with pain and loss and grief, is not the end. A soul is what makes you, you. It’s not any particular body part. You can lose limbs and get transplants from other people. It’s not the things you do or what you say because all of those can change. There is something intangible that all of us have that make us who we are. I call it soul.

Soul is the collection of memories from all your past lives. I don't mean the details, just the feeling. God does exist but not the way it is defined. God=energy of life. Not a man with man like qualities- ugh-how passe. YOu should investigate and discover the truth about religion instead of just believing borroweed knowledge

No, I don't believe we have souls in the sense that the soul is what carries into the after life. I believe we have something that allows us to have feelings, empathy, etc. I have thought very long and hard about there being a God, and I have concluded that there isn't. No offense if you really believe...to each his own!

There is a soul, everyone wants to believe it. I was given proof of mine, and it confirms life after death, never ending eternal life, reincarnation, and makes the actual truth more amazing than anything. IT DOES NOT BUST ANY RELIGION, but it may bust all church teachings. Though God is unprovable, if all people are truly created/born/evolved equal it supports the possibility of one God, whatever that is.

Can you locate your soul for me? Thought not.

Nope, no soul either.

EDIT

Really? In the center of your shell flesh? Show me an MRI of the soul. If it is there, why can't it be detected?

Fact is, you WANT to have a soul because you WANT to go to heaven and spend time with the magic sky fairy.

Offer some proof once in a while rather than myth or superstition.

Of course we all think about it. Many of us who have rejected the Judeo-Christian concept of God were once part of that belief system. And all of us have grown up in a culture that, by and large, promotes belief in it. It's kind of hard *not* to think about it.

I see no more evidence of a soul than I do of a supreme being, however. I'm made up of flesh and bones, atoms and molecules, and I'll disintegrate after I die. I don't see why I should have this special little piece of eternity inside me any more than a rock would.

In defense, each person has a soul for the Bible said that Adam became a

LIVING SOUL.

Whether some or you choose to deny the fact that each person has a soul, and there is a heaven and a hell, the fact remains that some of us will end up in heaven and some of us will end up in Hell.

Souls are non existent along with gods. I've thought my whole life about the possibility of a god being real. I always reach the same conclusion.

I would love to believe in a God and eternal soul. There is no rational basis to do so unfortunately
