Blockbuster has Ben & Jerry's so I get my movie and my snack on. Pint size is perfect for date night. We each grab a spoon and don't need to wash a bowl afterwards. All the best flavors can be found in a pint sized Ben & Jerry's.

They might want to make sure they don't gain weight from eating too much ice cream... and so that size is perfect. They could also only need a little bit for a recipe... (possibly) and... maybe they are single and don't eat much ice cream at all. You can buy them at Wal-mart and other grocery stores... and yes, the flavors are more gourmet than bigger packages.

I like to buy them because I don't feel as guilty buying a pint of Double Mocha Fudge Cookie Dough (or whatever!!!) compared to buying an entire gallon!! I guess I just mentally make excuses for the extra calories... even though the serving sizes are the same!

the size is good and will last a couple days and doesnt take up as much space. you can always split a pint with your friends and finish it. it has the perfect amount of ice cream in it. you can buy it in a grocery store in the frozen section with all the ice cream, popsicles, & other desserts.

I buy the gallon of general ice creams (vanilla, mint, chocolate). If i am needing a special type then i will buy the pint. I always seem to buy them at 711. I think its more a last minute craving.

the pint sized ones are made by more "gourmet" ice cream makers, and most people prefer the quality over the kind that comes in 1/2 gallon & 1 gallon sizes.
also, if they really love ice cream, it keeps them from OVER eating.

I think that sometimes people get it because they have flavores that you can't get in the bigger containers and it's also a good size. I think that there are actually two servings in it, though. We don't usually get them but when we do we get them at the grocery store.

This is just what I have seen. They want to overindulge, but know better than to buy a whole 1/2 gallon. They bring it home, stick the spoon in, eat half quickly, then take their time with the other half. There is no question of offering some to anyone else.

Because they do not want too much ice cream because it will get freezer burned before they eat it all, also they really do have alot of great flavors!
