The lingo, slang, accent, and common vocab. we pick us lets other people judge, label, and size us up, and if they have prejudices towards which 'box' they put you in, they judge you by that language style you use.

Language is the bridge between two people. If you cannot communicate with someone, interaction and socializing is made extremely difficult
