dont put them in your mouth
dont chew
dont swallow.
or
try winding yourself off them gradually.
and dont have any in the house to tempt you.

Swop it with healthy foods instead.....and don't buy the fatty stuff anymore. yeah eventually you WILL stop craving these foods. the most common reason why you are probably craving these junk food is because you are not eating proper meals, eat cereal in the morning eat a fruit between breakfast and lunch and eat a nice healthy salad at lunch time or some pasta and then you drink loads of water and eat anoteher fruit between lunch and dinner and eat something small at dinner time. I always eat some delicious soup. and if you get hunger pains before you go to bed...drink some tea or herbal tea. your body is craving these bad foods because you are not getting the nutrition you are suppose to get. Change your eating habits and you'll see that you will have more energy than before.
Make a few lifestyle changes....and it will not only make you feel better and more enetgetic, but you will also avoid high cholesterol ect
good luck. Remember your body is temple, don't stuff it with the wrong stuff. because it will show..

I'm in the same boat. Well, I was. So, my advice to you is to buy Snackajacks instead. Or pick up a bombay mix or a tropical fruit mix. They're high in calories but low in fat. Loads of fibre too. Anyway, Snackajacks are pleasant enough, but when they're the only thing in the cupboard, you'll find yourself giving them a miss. I open the cupboard, see them, have a look behind them just to make sure there's no rogue cheese and onion Walkers floating around. I tend to avoid the Snackajacks then, because it's been a whole thought process rather than 'I'm hungry. Want crisps. Have crisps'. Do you see what I mean?
Anyway, even when I'm hungry, I'll just make myself a cuppa soup or something - they're good to have in the cupboard, because they're savoury for if you're craving salt, and they're quick to make AND they take a while to drink, so it takes your mind off munching, and takes you closer to your next proper meal. I'm currently looking forward to my tea, I'm having a 'dammit I want CRIIIISPS!' moment, but I'm thinking about how much I'll enjoy my meal when I finally get it.
It's about stopping yourself before you eat, asking whether you're genuinely hungry. If you are, then find an alternative. And, don't have them in the cupboard, but make sure you have an alternative - if you just have fruit and veg in your cupboards you'll end up frustrated and hungry.

Sometimes it is hard to 'stop eating' something you really like, so you might try substituting something more healthy for it, until you feel able to control the craving. Buy lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, especially apples. When you feel like eating one of the offending foods, say, "For now, I will eat (an apple). After I eat (an apple) I will see how I feel." After a couple of days or a little longer, you may find the craving for the foods you are trying to eliminate, diminishing. Apples have a lot of good nutrients in them. You can feel free to eat other fresh fruits and veges, and keeping a bowl filled with your favorites within easy reach may help. Keep going to the store for nice fresh ones, so that you don't run out and revert to your old habits.

As Kelsey said, just don't buy it. The easiest way to stop is just make up your mind that your going to and be dead set on accomplishing that. Also keep a food diary, list your cravings, what you counteracted those cravings with (i.e. what you did or ate to stop the craving), and keep track of your weight in it also about every 3 to 4 days.
I lost 35lbs over about 3 months by cutting ALL snacking out of my day. If I feel the urge to snack on something, I'll eat a few nuts or a couple of slices of apple, or drink a glass of hot green tea. Apple naturally kills your appetite as do pine nuts.

First it will be really really hard - think breaking up with Brad Pitt on a level of difficulty! - I had a seriously sweet tooth when I was younger and by not have any for two years (chocolate, cakes and biscuits) I broke my habit.
Keep other foods in the house like carrots and crunchie veg you can chomp on - but nothing that tastes like crisps and fat stuff - after a while you will get used to the exclusion and get to enjoy these other healthy options.

Buy only such food which has not been industrially processed. Or which has a low level of processing. Avoid chemistry in food.
For example: make your own ice cream with only natural ingredients in it. If you must eat peanuts or any other nuts, buy those which have not been processed, those with no additives—not even salt and oil (they use low quality oil to save money at the expense of your health).
No additives = no addiction.

Every time you take a notion for fast food / junk, do what Paul McKenna says imagine that the food is covered in maggots. Seriously then you won't want it anymore. Once you start eating healthier foods your cravings for junk will disappear and it won't taste as nice to you.

It's all about will power. You have to set in your mind that you want to stop and you will. Find other alternativest that you like, maybe fruit or nuts. Also, the 100 calorie packs would be a great alternative for you.

Maybe you can give yourself a daily allowance treat instead of going cold turkey straight away.
I have decided to eat 365 less biscuits this year - sounds a lot doesn't it?
I usually had two biscuits with my early morning cup of tea and I've cut it down to one. Haven't really noticed it, but there must be a lot of calories missing from my diet now. Imagine sitting down to 365 biscuits in one go!!

try to eat crunch carrots and celery instead, and as for fatty food, try to go for the protiens, chicken and buy the packages of gravies literally no calories just add water, ground turkey with turkey gravy and onions, bellpeppers sauted its good. and go for lean ground beef and lean pork use the gravies they have them in all flavors and you will think your eating fatty but not. lol and you will be okay....promise, eat lots of salads and use the dressings that are sprizers. smile.
