Can you use a line out convertor on a set of speaker wires and still use it to power your speaker?

So the wire's will be spliced and then one end goes into the speaker and the other end would be into the loc.

Would the speaker lose power? How should i do this?

LOC's are designed to do exactly what you're talking about. The original speaker output shouldn't be affected in any way.

You can tap into the factory wiring for your converter and still use the speaker while using the LOC to convert to RCA for an Amplifier. Been there done that. No problems.
