Reallytrue101 u asked, so I'll A u.
"If my family were under attack", My family is under attack!, in less than a yr and a 1/2 I've lost 3 members of my family in death. I lean upon my God.He will set everything right. The only killing justified in the Holy Scriptures is when a thief comes into ur house, & u do actually kill him, there's no bloodguilt.
I am grown-up,stop the name calling, that's playground stuff.
Muslim , no silly. Abi means Father, and Jah is an abbrev., for Jehovah,So my name would be "Bambi's Father is Jehovah."
You said, "where do I get the nerve" apparently I hit YOURS!!! I Know Of A Religious Org., Here On Earth Today, That Does Not Go To War, I just wanted to know if n/e1 here @ Y/A's recognizes them. I know the answer will come, wait and YOU WILL see. Thx, for answering.

The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses are the only group that as a whole do not go to war that I know of...
(Isaiah 2:4) “4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.”

The Episcopal Church does not encourage war. However, its members realize that freedom is not free. Sometimes, you have to defend the freedom's we cherish so dearly, and sometimes that defense involves fighting. Where would we be today if no one had stood up to Hitler?
There's a vast difference between encouraging conflict and defending oneself. I'm glad that the Jehovah's Witnesses, Amish, Mennonites, etc. have chosen the peaceful path; they set a wonderful example. However, as long as there are fanatics and dictators in the world, someone's got to be willing to protect the freedoms that they seek to take away from others.

Bambi . . .,
I am going to be a little mean to you. You asked Christians not Christian churches or religions -- thus the answer depends upon each individual claiming himself to be Christian. There were a lot of individuals in the past that chose this road that weren't Jw's -- many, I am sure belonged to all kinds of different denominations.
For that reason, a great many may -- as you already saw in your question - give you a personal answer and opinion.
As far as churches go, the JW's are the only ones that I know of that are conscientious objectors worldwide. But with so many new non-denominational groups popping up, it is hard to tell if the JW's are the only group or the only church to obey this edict.
Ask about churches next time you ask this question.

Yes there are Christians who do not go to war...who do not kill another man(as in intentionally...accidents happen like car accidents in which somebody may die...)...
These Christians remain neutral when it comes to war and hate violence as Jehovah God does...they do not get involved in killing. They also do not get involved in politics...and war has to do with politics and as common sense tells us violence, murder, killing, etc.(Psalm 11:5...Isaiah 2:4...John 17:16) They put their trust and hope in God's Kingdom which has been established already in heaven and that will soon be established here on earth(Daniel 2:44).
As a Jehovah's Witness...i know that we follow all of God's commandments and live our lives in harmony with Bible principles which clearly states not to get involved in these things...we display love toward all...no matter there race, religion, economic standing, education, age, etc. We do not discriminate and have no right to judge or kill anyone. God's kingdom will take care of all the problems here on earth very soon...it cannot be accomplished through human power...but only that of Jehovah God.

There are people that say they are christians because that is how they were told to say, but being a Christian means living a life that establishies a Christian status. You can only be a Christian when you PRACTICE Christianity!!!!
Spirituality is SOOO watered down in the U.S that people accept things like gay marriage. How can you expect to find anyone that knows the answers to even the simple questions. they are usually wrong, but they are not challenged because people don't have enough knowledge to refute their falsehoods.
Preachers don't have accurate knowledge, they preach what they are told to or they don't get that gig.
If preachers knew the answer to your question, they would know that Christians don't go to war or even have an active involvement in politics. Jesus fled when they tried to make him king. go to your local Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses in order to get the truth FROM THE BIBLE, not from man!!!! You can get that and a lot more FOR FREE!!!! DVDS CDS ETC. for FREE!!!! Ckeck it out, if your are serious or even if you just want to have a question answered. B.E.Z.!!!!

I think Jehovah's Witnesses are the only Chrisitans taught not to fight in wars or murder and actually live by that. If anyone who is a Jehovah's Witness were to go against the command in God's Word not to murder, they would not be allowed to be Jehovah's Witnesses.
In the past and today there are many Jehovah's Witnesses in prison for their firm stand for righteousness to follow Jesus Christ's words at John 13:34 & 35. It says: "I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves."
Having the kind of intense love for their brothers and sisters around the world that Jesus had for his disciples would not allow their consciences to allow them to fight in wars or be any part of any kind of military, nor kill anyone. And Jehovah's Witnesses do live by this.
While following their Bible-trained consciences may lead to their imprisonment, Jehovah's Witnesses choose to obey God as ruler rather than men. They are law-abiding citizens in any country but when human laws conflict with God's laws they choose to obey God first. Just like the early Christians and like the apostle Paul said at Acts 5:29.

To my knowledge, there is only 1 group of true Christians that will not go to war and kill any person, no matter what religion, or not, the other humans are. Those people are Jehovah's Witnesses. We do follow the "You must not murder" commandment closely.

I'm a christian and I think taking someones life is wrong. It seems to me that Jesus was very clear on this subject, he talked about being forgiving and even practiced this while he was hanging on the cross by forgiving the very people who put him there. He said that those who live by the sword die by the sword. This is what Martin Luther King Jr. thought about Jesus as well.
