i got my 1st tattoo around 6 mos ago and i love it, except that it looks embossed right now because it formed a keloid. it still looks great even in its keloidal state because it's one color and there isn't very detailed, but i want to get more detailed tattoos in the future and i'm afraid keloid formation would only blur details of any new tattoo that i plan to get. is there anything i can put on my existing tattoo to flatten it, like a cream or something? thanks.

I dont really know what you can do to take care of the one that already is a scar but I do know that my boyfriend has 8 tattoos and only the one on his chest looks like a scar, you might not have trouble with any other ones. Good Luck

there is a difference between scarring and keloid scars. if the tattoo just has some regular scarring you can try putting some things on them. one of my tattoos had a very small spot of scarring and i put A&D on it for about 4 months and it finally went down but i did so from the very first time i noticed the scar. 6 months may be too late.

if it is a keloid then there is nothing you can do to keep your skin from forming them.

Go to a real professional doctor. Don't send pictures over the internet. It could be a real problem that you need to deal with and soon.

keloids will go away on their own. Don't sweat is.
