Out of all the ones I've tried, the best is the"SOUTH BEACH DIET". -I've done Atkins, the G.I diet, Cambridge, and lots of others. But South Beach becomes more a way of life than a diet, because you're encouraged never to feel hungry.

Lots of meat, fish, nuts, and vegetables, and cheeses. Even carbohydrates, but the right ones, not junks.

The first 2 weeks are a bit hard, no alcohol, no candy, no fruit even, but then it becomes easier and easier, until it just becomes normal and you never feel the need to binge.

Atkins is stricter, and faster, but you get withdrawal pangs. South Beach is a refined form of Atkins and simpler.

Once you're down to target weight you can simply read up on the GI diet, and follow that.

What other type of appetite is there? If you are having trouble loosing weight or feel like you eat too often or too much try these: Don't drink soda pop (or fruity 'beverages') - drink water with lemon, instead. Eat lots of fruits, and go to the store and find the ones that are your favorites. Then when you get home, put a bowl on the table where it is easy to just "grab something", filled with your favorites. Eat fresh vegetables as often as you can. Try to eat for the sake of health, rather than thinking of "dieting". Eat apples. One study stated that people who ate an apple before their meals gained less weight than those who did not. Apples will help you to feel a little fuller, and they are a good food. Try eating one or two apples before each meal, or in between meals. Eat good protein. This will be a good way to avoid diseases like diabetes. Try to avoid the white flour products like cakes, cookies, etc. The real problem is that they don't have hardly any nutritional value in them, despite what the labels may say. If you are hungry, eat an apple first. Give it a few minutes, and then eat something else if you are still hungry. Go to a helath food store and see if you can find a book about healthy foods. This will help you see the way foods work in our bodies. See a doctor if you are really having a weight problem that may include other health risks, so that you can be certain you are addressing all of your health issues. Your health should be your primary concern.

Drink 2 Glasses of Water before you sit down to eat, it kills appetite.

However, Drinking during meal can make you eat more.

Set a goal for yourself, work on it and motivate yourself to achieve it.

Good Luck !

i don't understand, do you not want to eat, or do you want to not have the urge to eat too much? coffee and hot green tea are great for appetite control, but not elimination.
