Where does alcohol fit in? In my opinion it's a pretty bad one, worse than many illegal drugs.

What about cigarettes?

Do you think these drugs are only seen as harmless because they're socially acceptable?

my reasons for this order are.....meth kills quicker it also rots your teeth and your insides
heroin is very addictive and even withdrawal after years of use can cause your heart to stop, its that deadly
cocaine causes numbing and is addictive so people injure themselves withotu realizing the damages
alcohol causes more harm to the drinker " long term" than to others unless you drive drunk and kill someone it really does take alot of alcohol to cause injury to yourself
cigarettes are more of long term abuse to yourself and years and years of it

I believe that the two worst are cigaretts and alcohol, because they are legal, more readily available, socially acceptable and are just as addictive as illegal drugs. I can say this because I am only and alcoholic and went thru rehab recently. Most of the others there were true drug addicts, the most prevalent being crack-cocain. All of them smoked. Remeber, it used to be cool to smoke. But all of it will affect your health and I can say from experiance it is a hard climb up.

I agree with you, alcohol is a very dangerous drug because it is so readily available and drinking is accepted by many social groups. Too many people drink to excess. Alcoholism has ruined many lives. It's at the top of my list.
1. Alcohol
2. Meth (any street drug)
3. Nicotine/cigarettes
4. Prescription drug abuse
5. Adderrol - quit giving it to our children!!!!!

My opinion only..... I think that

Heroin is #1
Speed (crank, coke, ice, etc.) #2
Alcohol #3
Cigarettes #4

Yes, I do agree that cigarettes and alcohol are seen as harmless because they are so socially acceptable. But it's getting harder and harder to find places that allow smoking. Alcohol is one of the most common to get addicted to. Probably because it is so easy to get and certainly cheaper that the other drugs out there!

#1 Meth
#2 Crack Cocaine
#3 Alcohol
#4 Opiates
#5 Benzos

Meth is spreading across the U.S. turning everyone's life into hell who comes in contact with it. It's only gonna get worse.

Of course I am slightly biased, it almost ruined mine. Of course i'm gonna pick it as #1.

Alcohol is horrible too, some of the worst episodes of intervention have been over alcoholics... love that show!!

oxycontin/vicodin combined with soma is the worst and most addictive. Trying to quit this almost killed me.
alcohol, starts a behavior of feeling good quick fix
Pot, because it changes your views on drugs in general. Few addicts did not start with pot or alcohol.
I see indiginous peoples all over the world all smoke tobacco, so it mostly is irritating to those who dont like it.

These drugs teach us to run for instant gratification to solve our problems, but when the drug wears off, the problem is still there so we are needing to take the drug again. Once we take the drug for an extended period, we become very sick when we do not take it so now we take it not to be sick and it now owns us.

We learn to use a bandaid instead of standing up to our problems.

1. Crack
2. Meth
3. Heroine
4. PCP
5. Huffing

Cigarettes, alcohol, marijuana are less dangerous (in my opinion) because they have less of a chance of killing the user on the first use. Long term use of any drug has detrimental effects.

crystal meth
crack cocaine
alcohol
heroine
opiate based narcotics

P.S. I don't think that anyone argues that cigarettes are not harmful to you. I didn't include tobacco on my list because it takes longer for cigarettes to harm you than the drugs I listed, but I definitely think they kill. I wish I didn't smoke and have quit several times only to start again.

If you weight it for amount abused alcohol has to be number one. Next would be crack, then meth. After that I'd say steroids and oxytoxin.
